What does "Primitive" mean????

(adj) primitive ......of or pertaining to a former time; old-fashioned; characterized by simplicity;

A lot of people don't have any idea what primitive means until they come into our shop. At the Prim Shack you will find simplicity, old-fashioned, heart warming, hand-crafted items for your home or for that special someone in your life.

To us primitive means bringing the past back. Our Mom has told us that some of the things we have in our homes needs to be thrown in the trash. But wait, we can't do that, they are priceless primitives. We have hoosier hutches, crock bowls, butter churns, antique ice box, spool chests, farm table, you name it and if it is old we will find a place for it. We will post pictures soon of our antiques in our own homes.

At the Prim Shack we are always looking for that unique piece that is hard to find. We make our trips to Kentucky when we can and bring back some of the old pieces from the peddlers malls in Kentucky. Never a dull moment when the two of us get out together looking for primitives.

Olde Time Primitives

Come on out to the Prim Shack to see some of our unique primitives. We are always adding new items and you never know what you may find at the Shack. We hand craft new items weekly. Also we are branching out into the home interior decorating area. We can assist you in anyway at decorating your home with country primitives.
