Olde Time "Stars and Stripes" Gathering ~ June 5th, 10:00am to 5:00pm

Coming June 5th will be the Prim Shack's Olde Time "Stars and Stripes" Gathering. It will be 10:00am to 5:00pm, and we will have refreshments for everyone. We will be teaming up with Wessels Originals to celebrate our country @ Prim Shack. Come and check out our primitive patriotic items for sale. You will receive 10% off your total purchase and you can also register for an Americana gift to be given away. The Heart of Primitive Decor @ Prim Shack

Primitive decor is becoming more and more popular.  Primitives take you back to your roots.  It is a more relaxing environment for simpler times.  Many people find that decorating their home with primitive items gives them a feeling of relaxation. It helps make their home a place to get away from a hectic day at work. The neutral rich colors give you a sense of warmth not found in other styles of decorating.

In the 1800's times were hard financially. The gifts that were given were simple, yet from the heart. A young girl might get a faceless doll and be absolutely grateful for getting anything at all. Such items were hand made from older tattered and worn items that found a new purpose. Prim Shack is happy to be one of many sponsors of the Winter Haven Relay for Life, April 16th and 17th. We will be giving away a Breast Cancer Primitive "Gift of Hope"  Set. You can register for this gift during regular business hours @ Prim Shack (Thursday & Friday 4:00-6:30pm and Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm). Drawing will be May 7th, Mother's Day weekend.   This gift set can be ordered with the awareness ribbon color of your choice should you want to purchase a set.  The pillow is 12x12 in size and the frame is 5x7.  The gift set sells for 36.00 and comes wrapped as seen below.

 "A Family Bound By Warm Hearts" Olde Time Primitive Arrangement

A very unique, personalized, primitive welcome light arrangement. This is one of our most popular gifts for Mother's Day. "A Family Bound By Warm Hearts" is a treasure for any home to have. Each heart is personalized with your family members name. This arrangement is showing the names of our brother's and sister's. Each heart is 2.50 (in addition to the arrangement which is 36.00) with the name hand stitched on it. This arrangement is in a 7x12 wooden box and you can choose your color. It has a 5" welcome country light with gingham tied around it and a rusty tin star.   Also on the front of the box is hand stitched the saying "Family is Forever". You may also choose "Families That Pray Together, Stay Together". If you have a favorite verse or saying we can do that for you.  Order early as we have to cut off the orders a few weeks before Mother's Day to meet the demand for them.
 
Mother's Day is May 9th. You  may also order a wreath with the family hearts on it or even a grape vine tree.  These are very special to the Mom or Grandmother as they have their family names on them.  Don't forget Grandmother, we can do these with the grandchildren names.

Antiques @ Prim Shack

We have some new antiques at the prim shack.  One is an old radio flyer wagon, another is an old handmade pie safe.  Stop by when you can to check them out.  Our store hours are Thursday and Friday, 4:00 to 6:30pm, and Saturdays, 10:00am to 5:00pm.  Check out the shop pictures below.  We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter. Christ is Risen!!
